I've talked to the support reps at Cannon, they claim we have to install the PTP driver but I cannot find any infomation on doing this. Problem is the device (Canon XTi) uses PTP and there are no device drivers for Vista per the Canon support site. It would make the sound that the hardware was plugged in/un-plugged, but nothing would show up under computer. I recently tried plugging my digital camera (via USB) into my computer and it wasn't recognizing (it was working week(s) before).
